The system makes the analysis process independent of the analyst’s discretion, thus neutralising the unknowns due to potential bias or emotional factors. By means of quantitative techniques and well-structured qualitative analysis, the TH.E.SYS® application measures the country threat in aggregate terms, based on different values conveyed through analytical indicators referable to four risk categories: terrorism, crime, ethics and politics. The system is designed to provide specific charts and rankings to allow for easy comparisons by individual countries, by regional area or between different areas. TH.E.SYS.®, therefore, provides updated threat estimates and can also be used for preliminary predictive analysis. The platform provides thorough and user-friendly Country fact sheets, or fact sheets related to sub-state entities.
