DERM - MODULE 3
SED
The Security Events Database allows companies to perform timely and real-time analyses of the threats posed by armed insurgency and violent crime and predict the likelihood of security events for each geographical area of interest, with a view to defining or updating risk management strategies and business continuity plans.
The Security Events Database allows companies to perform timely and real-time analyses of the threats posed by armed insurgency and violent crime and predict the likelihood of security events for each geographical area of interest, with a view to defining or updating risk management strategies and business continuity plans.

The system aggregates data in real time and uses a database of events dating back from 2009 onwards. Each event is geo-referenced and archived based on pre-set parameters (type, responsibility, target, tactics and weapons used) to facilitate statistical analysis, which can be conducted by both country or specific areas of interest. All analyses can be exported to editable formats and added to company documentation.
The SED can also predict, for each location of interest, the likelihood of armed insurgency and violent crime events in order to provide intuitive and usable management and business continuity information.
